Your learning experience will include hands on projects, written reports of design processes, critique reviews, and presentations of portfolio work. We will meet on campus four times during the Summer term.
Our first meeting is Friday, AUGUST 30, at 5:30-7:30 PM. The room in which we will meet, is on the second floor of the Fine Art Building: F204. Additional dates may be added as determined by the class.
Students who have completed this course in the past, have been most successful when they have attended all of the meeting dates. If you are unable to attend any of these meeting dates please contact Mrs. Dodt at (708) 456-0300 x3431 to set up an alternate meeting time.
During the first meeting, you will be trained on the use of the WEBCT software, available for you with the registration of this course. To access the software simply click on the LOGIN box at the bottom of this page and type your first and last name, exactly as the name you used when you registered for the course, in lowercase characters (with no spaces) for your user name and your SS number (with no spaces) for your password. You don't have to wait until the first class, go ahead and explore the software and textbook! Purchase your supplies and begin your journey into Design.
